Child-Friendly Clinics

At our child friendly clinics, we have dedicated play rooms/corners well furnished with toys and books to keep children entertained and occupied while waiting for their consultation. This helps children to settle and be less anxious by the time it is their turn to consult the physicians.

Physicians at our child friendly clinics are specially selected for their clinical experiences and their ability to interact and connect with children. At the end of the session, our young paediatric VIP patients will also receive small special gifts from physicians for their cooperation throughout.

From our experience, more than 80% of paediatric patients seen at the clinics suffer from digestive and respiratory conditions. These include diarrhea, constipation, cough, influenza, allergic rhinitis and asthma.

The physician will begin the consultation session using traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic methods. These include observing, hearing and smelling, inquiring about the signs and symptoms as well as pulsing. Individualized treatment will be rendered based on the child's individual constitutions and conditions; this includes prescription of the herbal medication. For example, if a child has weak spleen and stomach, the physician will prescribe herbs that will strengthen the spleen and stomach. If a child suffers from excessive internal heat, treatment will focus on expelling heat.

TCM treats the root of the problem, not just the symptoms. This ensures that the ailment/condition does not relapse easily.
