Established in 2005, our Medical Board comprises both Western-trained medical specialists and TCM physicians to provide a balanced view of integrative medicine. Its members include healthcare professionals from various medical specialties as well as representation from our clinic management.
One of the board’s roles is to oversee standards of care in the development of TCM and Integrative Medicine clinical services for the Group. This includes advising on protocols for clinical documentation and clinical quality indicators. In terms of quality assurance, the Medical Board advises on the quality and appropriateness of services, including clinic practices and audits.
Regarding recruitment, the board establishes the qualifications and experience required for prospective practitioners and assists with interviews as well as endorsing their appointments. To ensure compliance and professionalism, the board makes recommendations for the conduct and ethics of physicians.
Furthermore, the board conducts inquiries and investigates feedback of inappropriate conduct or practices when necessary. It also recommends appropriate approaches for education and clinical research within the Group.
